If you are an Inventor here is some information to review before you contact NEWSKY to make sure we are the right stamping ttol and injection mould manufacturer for you. Below we answer some preliminary questions;
1. Will you design the parts for me?
NEWSKY does not design parts from scratch. We have a design and engineering team in house to assist with your stamping die and injection mould designs and offer solutions for manufacturing. Please provide a CAD File or part to be reversed engineered if you Request a Quote.
2. What is the typical cost of a Stamping Die and Plastic Injection or Insert Mold?
Stamping tool and Injection molds usually cost from $2,000 to $50,000 per tool. So economically you need to have an annual volume to substantiate this cost.
3. What is typical piece price of manufactured parts?
A part cost varies by size, annual volume, how many processes are required to manufacture it and raw materials used. A typical part cost $0.02 to $5.00. Some parts cost more than $5 due to the previously stated reasons.
4. Is NEWSKY able to help you sell or distribute your product?
Since we are a stamping tool and mould manufacturing company of customer’s parts we do not help sell products or provide any marketing services for your products. We will assist with inventory management and shipping parts to your distributors or company locations.
5. How long is the stamping tool and injection mold manufacturing cycle?
According to the structure and difficulty of the product, it usually takes 3 to 8 weeks to complete the manufacturing of the stamping tool and injection mold for this product. This time can be adjusted according to your remands, and we will shorten the delivery time as much as possible.
6. What is the life of the stamping mold?
The life of the stamping tool is related to the material and the thickness. Under normal circumstances, the stamping die life is 2 million to 5 million, this life is calculated according to the effective cutting edge length of the punch and the die insert, but the stamping tool is in good condition, and after the replacement of the punch and the die insert, the mold is reproducible and can continue to produce.
7. What are the criteria for judging the mold?
After stamping tool and injection mould manufacturing is completed, we check all dimensions of the product. All sizes are within the tolerance range of the drawing, and the stamping tool and injection mould is in normal condition when producing 1000Pcs, we regard the mold as qualified. Of course, you can also propose other conditions, but you may pay the cost for this.
8. Does NEWSKY provide after-sales service?
NEWSKY currently has an office in Canada, and they can provide some services to customers in North America. In other areas, services are provided through video guidance, spare parts production, etc. If you are willing to pay extra costs for this, we can also provide local mold guidance, debugging and other services.
